Vision and Mission
We will be our members' primary financial institution.
We will exceed the expectations of our members with dedication and excellence.
We believe that every employee and volunteer plays a role in developing and attaining goals. To that end, Water and Power Community Credit Union (WPCCU) will provide ample support and assistance to its associates, managers, and volunteers to develop themselves in order to excel at servicing the needs of the membership and clients of the credit union.
We believe in teamwork, whereby each and every staff member provides assistance and support to project teams, work groups and internal customers with promptness, accuracy and courtesy.
We believe that consultative selling is a natural and beneficial way to serve the member. The staff of the credit union makes every effort to maximize sales and service opportunities by showcasing products with the intent of educating members on their utility. Employees are empowered to meet expected and unexpected members' needs on the spot in order to make for an extraordinary member experience.
Trust and Participation
We believe that each and every staff member is capable of providing the highest quality service to the membership. Each employee is trusted to do what is necessary to do so. Staff members are encouraged to participate in the operations of the organization whether it be individually, in work groups, or on project teams. Each staff member is expected to maintain a trusting relationship with other staff members and, moreover, is expected to make trust building a continuous process.
We believe that each and every service center, committee, and project team is to be organized and operated as if it were virtually a stand-alone business enterprise providing service. Such an operating environment encourages and cultivates teamwork, quality, member orientation, internal customer support, and active selling.
We believe that each and every employee and volunteer has the mandate to respond to member requests no matter what their position in the organization. We all hold the title of member service representative. Our organizational positions are of secondary importance.
