Celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month in April.
Join us in April for a celebration of National Credit Union Youth Month at a WPCCU branch near you! This year's theme will help our youngest members learn about the Science of Saving.
Bring your young saver (ages 17 and under) to any branch and make a deposit of $25 or more into a new or existing youth savings account and receive a special gift.* Plus! Any deposit made during Youth Month automatically makes you a part of the National Youth Savings Challenge, where 10 lucky young savers from credit unions nationwide will win $100 each.

Now’s the perfect time to explore ways your child can save for their future. Here are a few ideas to help your owls Give A Hoot About Saving:
- Have young children—preschool age—sort different types of money into piles by color and size.
- Play store or credit union. Help them use a pretend cash register.
- At the grocery store, let children of all ages help you shop. Teach them how to comparison shop—for example, show them that for every $4.85 box of cereal, there may be similar brands on sale for half as much. As children get older, let them know what things cost.
- Share sales receipts and bills that you receive for items or services you've purchased for them.
WPCCU has resources to help your little owl build their savings. Let our member service representatives assist you with more ideas.
