2014 Annual Report

During the Great Depression of the 1930’s, our credit union stood by its members. Today, nearly 80 years later, we still are. Research tells us that today’s members want three things: 1) banking that is simple, accurate and clear; 2) a financial advocate when they need one; and 3) help making sound financial decisions. In our 78th year of existence, WPCCU has experienced what it means to be a truly successful credit union. It means that in addition to a solid financial performance, you have also contributed toward the financial success of your members and their families. In 2013, the credit union enhanced this legacy. We launched our new core operating system, fulfilling our commitment to offer members improved service and innovative loan programs and products. 2012 Annual Report

As the nation continued to emerge from one of the deepest recessions in our credit union’s history, we stayed focused on the safety and soundness of the credit union while helping our members recover from these difficult financial times. WPCCU has proven to be a strong, resilient and safe haven for our members’ deposits. With 34,190 members and more than $476 million in assets we continue to serve DWP employees and retirees, their families as well as community members who live, work, worship or attend school in many of the LADWP service areas. Read more >>

2011 Annual Report

As our year-long 75th anniversary celebration comes to a close, we pause to reflect on the credit union’s numerous achievements through the years, and specifically in 2011. Since our founding in 1936 by 10 members of the DWP Employees Association, WPCCU has proven to be a strong, resilient and safe haven for our members’ money, even in the most difficult financial times. Today is no different. Despite the world-wide economic challenges in recent years, we’ve grown to be more than $462 million in assets and 36,282 members strong, serving DWP employees, their families as well as community members in many of the DWP service areas.
