Precautions for Traveling Abroad

As a member of Water and Power Community Credit Union, you are entitled to apply for a MasterCard^® and use it wherever the MasterCard logo appears. However, when you travel, you need to be ultra-careful in some foreign countries that are prone to fraud.

As a result of prior fraudulent transactions, WPCCU blocks debit and credit card transactions from the following countries: Cuba Hungary Iran  Myanmar (Burma)  Romania South Africa Sudan The United Kingdom If you wish to use your credit/debit cards when traveling in these countries, you should notify us so we can remove the block for you.

In addition to these blocked countries, we also block ATM transactions from the following countries due to the large number of counterfeit ATM transactions: Russia Estonia Poland Italy China Spain  Ukraine Lithuania Turkey Japan Thailand
